Very kind. I didn't do much online yesterday except post a message for Valentine's day, because my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. But I'm back now, and as you kindly suggested, I've brought with me my observation about where we all find ourselves in this enterprise, when I wrote that people should "realise just how far we’ve come on this journey. The horizon may not seem any nearer, but our starting point has been left far behind, and we’re into a totally different landscape now." Students will note that Alex has sent us all a very nice email, which should encourage <strong>everyone</strong>. In it, he pretty much confirms our assessment of the situation, describing the support problems as growing-pains associated with the rapid 500% growth of his business. He says, loud enough for even those who have fallen back, or drifted some way away, to hear: "I DONT WANT TO LEAVE YOU BEHIND". And he assures us that he's prepared to make more modules, and bring in experts to give bonus ones, on the areas in which students still need support. You can't say fairer than that, can you. So everyone should take heart. You mentioned Shakespeare; well, to those fearing failure: "screw your courage to the sticking-place, and we'll not fail."
