Hi Gary,
Love the example you gave with the reference to the film 300.
Great job there mate!
I guess you could have quoted other examples from films, history & self help books but the one you chose seemed to’ve hit the nail smack bang on the head.
THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Gary,
Are there uzzards and seagull? I didn’t really notice it since I’m focusing on what I can give to benefit those who needs our helps. I’m sure if we focus on what we should be doing then they will have nothing to say later.
Great post mate! I’m not very good at writing and I hope to learn a lot from you. And thanks for dropping at my blog as well.
Keep in touch and all the best,

hi Gary, on my cell phone at moment, an inspired post, i have seen some posts about this on warrior forum, we had a saying in sales and marketing – ‘you write your own paycheck’ so at the end of day you should not worry about snipers another saying i use is look at knowledge as a candle and if you have the knowledge then let others light their candles from your candle, Cheers Tommy http://www.tommy-mclaughlin.com

To Dean Holland…
Dean, I gotta take my hat off to you. The people on one of those ugly sites (and there were quite a few) threw every insult and four letter word at you that their tiny little pea-brains could think of. I’ve seen a LOT of nasty stuff on the internet and I have been the target a few times – but what I saw there was utterly revolting and disgusting beyond anything I have ever seen before. Your replies to their taunts were very controlled and measured. You must have totally flabbergasted them when they baited you so very hard and you just ignored it all. Well done!
To Guy…
Elton John wrote a song for you, didn’t he? Only kidding. Hey Guy, nice of you to leave a comment. Thanks. I’ll scoot over later on and see what you are up to. Thump… thump… thump…300! Let all the demons and witches come and we will just put the shields up. Great movie, wasn’t it? And what about the ending? 300 turned into 300,000. Maybe we can do that here. Who knows?
I’ll come back to Will and Tommy in a moment. This reply is getting too long . And… if the program or computer crashes … well, we have ALL been there, huh?
Thanks Dean. Thanks Guy.

To Will Lim…
Will, good point you make. By totally focussing on what YOU are doing there is a big chance that you would never notice all the negativity and criticism elsewhere. But I am an information hunter. I like to know what is out there. I have also read many books like Sun Tzu’s “Art of War” and Miyamoto Musashi’s “Go Rin No Sho” (Book of Five Rings). So, although it is my choice to react or not (and I chose NOT to in this instance – because I didn’t want to waste time with morons) it is good to know where your enemies are gathering. More importantly, it is good to get INSIDE their camp (as a lurker – easy to do on the net) and see what they are thinking. They are VERY angry – borne out of jealously IMHO. So, we can expect further attacks. Now, when they come, it won’t be a shock for anybody. People in the Alex Jeffreys Coaching Course can come here and seek solace.
To Tommy McLaughlin…
Tommy, yeah – the WF had some smart alec comments on it – like it usually does. That is where some “experienced” marketers like to BEAT UP on others for having the audacity to mention something that annoys them. But the WF wasn’t where the utter filth was. I don’t even want to mention the name as I wouldn’t want the search engines to register it. It’s best to leave that website buried in its own excreta. Incidentally, your candle example is a VERY good one. Well said!
Thanks Will. Thanks Tommy.
Regards to you both.

Nicely put Gary!
It is truly sad, the envy that is out there as soon as someone is having a little success. It is certainly not reserved only for internet marketers and it is hard on your self-esteem everytime it happens.
But as one of those who has seen 300, your post hit home with me. I wonder if there is some virtual small cave we could lure the seagulls and buzzards into to end their misery
What do you think?
Actually this post is sort of complimentary to my recent post which reflects on why the internet is a good platform for business. I would like your views on that too.
You’ll find it at http://www.carljaniei.com

Howdy Carl,
I was at your site this afternoon. I see you have reciprocated by putting me in your blogroll. Thank you!
What a bunch of sad people they were – nothing but spite, hatred, jealousy and most of all… four letter words. Disgusting.
You know something Carl? Our BEST strategy would be to make an OUTRAGEOUS SUCCESS of this and rub their beaks in it – LOL!
Let’s do it. 300!

Well well well….there will always be someone out there who will have a go at stealing someone elses thunder.
Gary…mate….I am backing you and DEAN as well as the rest of Alex Jeffreys mentoring students, not to forget dear Alex, every step of the way.
As for the “buzzards” and “seagulls”… I guess we could just leave them nothing to swoop on…..except our success!!!! ha ha ha
Who cares what they say…. Faith, Trust and Self-Belief will win out every time. Evidently those people are very short on all three whilst the likes of us have an endless supply.
Thanks for your encouraging words on my blog as well as your invitation to come on over and leave a comment. Come back and visit me at http://www.coleencook.com anytime.
Best of success to you Gary…. and the rest of the Alex Jeffrey’s mentoring team.

Hi Colleen,
I just nipped across to your site. I thought I was gonna be the FIRST person to comment there. But that darn Alex Jeffreys beat me to it – LOL!
Oh well, second place is pretty good.
See how I mentioned your site was similar to mine, except colour? You have yellow where I have blue. You must have good taste.
Yep, I mentioned to carl Janiei above that the best thing we could do would be to rain on their pitiful parade and dump an avalanche of success on them – well, I’m embellishing it the further I go. But you get the idea.
300!
Best Wishes

last time I left a message I actually meant to say I like your pic!!!!
Alex is a guy isn’t he? He sure is taking an interest in us all. When he says he want our SUCCESS he does mean it.
Yes, you are serious about the ‘buzzards’ and ‘seagulls’, just as I am. Mate. People can’t help themselves. They are so infected by bad vibes that they get off on being mean and nasty to other people who are doing good things.
I love your comments….. they made me laugh Gary…I’m having fun as well. It is so good to be part of a group that is all going the same place!!!
Anyway, I just stopped by to say I am visiting everyone on the blog roll to show my support for my fellow students and you were next in line.
Can you please drop me a line over at my blog and let me know how I create a blog roll so that I can add it to my blog pronto??? Also do you know how I can add a email feed to my site? I would be very grateful for your advice.
Anyway, until we next chat….best of success to you.
You know my saying “Dare to Dream and Peace Will Be Your Prize”
ps. thanks for the compliment on my pic…..

Thanks Coleen,
My pic?
Would that be “happy” Gary or “bad” Gary? I have two. Like Bruce Banner and that alter-ego green dude. LOL!
Yep Alex Jeffreys is the real McCoy.
The blogroll? Yeah, that took me a few back and forths to get it right – and, you have to make sure you get everbody’s URL correct. Some are dot net, some are dot com, some are dot name. I originally spelled your name wrong with two “l’s” and it went to somewhere else but I fixed that.
Since you asked here – and others will probably wanna know – I’m gonna answer it here and then come over to your house and leave a comment telling you to come back here (with a brew of tea and cookies).
Answer to how to make a blogroll…
OK. Go to “write.” Then click on “link.” A panel opens up with three oblongs. Put the person’s name in the first one, their URL in the second and whatever you want in the last one. I wrote ” Student of Alex Jeffreys or something in mine to give him some exposure for the search engines – when they get around to indexing it.
Now, Colleen, open up the arrow called “Categories” and make sure you tick the little box that says “blogroll.” Save the panel. Then refresh your home page. Do this procedure over and over for whoever you want to put on your blogroll and they should start sprouting up like ears of wheat all over the place. LOL!
Anyway, that’s the basics. I have a more advanced way of importing it all but if I try to explain that you will miss all the fun. Just fiddle with it a bit. You’ll get the hang of it.
Best of success to you too, my dear.

ABOUT BUZZARDS AND SEAGULLS – A LITTLE UPDATE FOR YOU ALL
My sole purpose of putting this thread up was to WARN everyone of the mean-spirited, negative, angry, jealous and vindictive types that are out there wanting to tip a bucket of cold vomit all over this coaching project.
Let me say this…
If you go to a forum all gung-ho and start whacking up comments about Alex Jeffreys’ Internet Marketing coaching they will come at you like there is no tomorrow. Hey, they just can’t help themselves!
Simply, they feel threatened.
Certain people are aware of one particular site and I wouldn’t want to have my website hanging off that particular ISP… if you get my drift.
There are things like defamation and libel that apply equally to the Internet and you cannot call people disgusting names and publish such to make yourself look like some toughie (make that bogan). If that was done in a newspaper the newspaper would get sued – and they KNOW it. So they all have a team of legal eagles reading all the editorials, letters to the editor and even the adverts.
But…
… some seriously misguided fools seem to think if they publish something on the net and then take it down if things start to get serious – for example, by way of defamation action – that they are OK.
Uh-uh. Think again bogans.
There are all sorts of recording logs – not to mention http://www.Alexa.com and the “wayback” machine that records what websites USED to look like. Oh dear! (Oops. Didn’t think of that?)
Then, of course, there is the personal computer belonging to the person that created it. Computers can be siezed and forensically searched by police. (Oops. Didn’t think of that either, huh?)
To cut this short… er, I wouldn’t want to be those goons who splattered Alex Jeffreys name and what he is doing with all manner of insult, threats, defamatory comments and foul language.
He is above retaliating personally to that. But, as we are all learning, all sorts of “services” can be out-sourced. You don’t have to do everything personally, do you? Nope.
Hmmm, what’s that I hear?…
… sounds like an avalanche and it could land on somebody’s ISP. Gee, wouldn’t that be sad? No more perverse fun publishing defamatory and insulting comments liberally appended with all those four-letter words.
Anyway, I’m just conjecturing here. Who knows what might happen?
But, all that aside, as one successful internet millionare marketer said in confidence to another, “Welcome to success!”
Yup, they are out there folks. Guard yourself against them by not associating with them. They are nobodies anyway.

Gary, you are a darling!! Thankyou so much.
I have taken down your very clear instructions and will set to work getting it done before I sleep tonight.
Now then, where exactly are you located…the tea might be cold and the cookies stale, by the time I get there, so how about I come visit and you put the kettle on and open the cookies!!…. ha ha ha
Hey Gary, last night I was thinking how cool it would be if all of us ‘original students of Alex’s mentoring class’ were able to organise a get together in the UK with Alex.
Thanks once again. You are a gem mate.

Thanks Mate… I got the update and have carefully noted it down.
Gary, can you please explain one more thing….if I put the URL will the name auotmatically appear like yours? …. I want everyones name the same as your’s so I thought I should wait to hear your answer before I go ahead and start entering URLS only to find my blogroll is a list of website addresses showing instead of student names with the website attached!!!
mmm.. can’t half tell I’m not real good at the tech stuff ha!!
See ya mate
Gotta fly myself.

Hi Coleen,
Yeah – an inaugural “Class of 2008″ would be very cool.
Now, to answer your question I’m not 100% sure exactly what you are asking but that control panel allows you to add and delete within seconds.
Like I said – just have a fiddle. Load just one – MINE (I say guffawing at my unabashed selfishness) – as a “test case.” See what happens. If it does what you want – load some more.
Like Alex Jeffreys says… fail forward. You will soon learn what you have done right or wrong. Go on. Bang mine in then let me know and I’ll come over and have a gander. Then, even if you have made a mistake, I can tell you how to fix it.
I’ve buggered things up big time but I have learned how to fix them through trial and error.
If ya need me just holler!
Don’t bang any more in if they aren’t what you want. Coz that’s a waste of time and none of us are gettin’ any younger. I’ll check it out for you first.

Fellow Alex Jeffreys student here.
Great job “taking action” to get your Blog up and running!
Those Buzzards and seagulls will always be around. Best try to ignore them and keep an eye on the prize. As the Movie people say, “A critic is just a failed Actor”.
I am in process of adding you to my Blogroll and hope you will do the same.
I am making a document with the Links verified, and will make this available in order to save everyone hours of work. Hopefully, we can get all 500 students on it.
Good luck in your endeavors, happy blogging, and see you in Class!
