Well done Gazz,
I've gotta hand it to you and say that your dedication is clear and decisive (what else of a martial arts master?).
Already I see 110 comments (mine makes 111,.. a favorite number of mine in fact) and that bears testimony to what you're speaking about. A great read!

Keep it up and keep 'em coming.

Cheers,... Russ

Hi Jo - actually, I'm laughing at your second last sentence. Thanks. I try VERY HARD to keep hype and BS out of my posts/articles/tweets etc. Now, having said that...

... since telling the ENTIRE WORLD how I regularly get 500 and 600+ visitors a day to my blog, here is what I have received in the last 3 days...

04 Sep 2009 370 visits (Fri)
05 Sep 2009 261 visits (Sat)
06 Sep 2009 355 visits (Sun)

Well, I suppose those numbers are still very good. I have been speaking to a lot of my acquaintances who have blogs and most of them are getting well under 100 visits per day.

But there you go - you (me) shoot your mouth off and look what happens!

Murphy's Law at work... again.

Jo, to answer your question - has anyone ever complained about me using their name on my blog? No. If they did I would remove it. But... gee... I know how PRECIOUS some people are... but... oh dear! What is this world coming to when you cannot even mention a person's name in passing?

Hi Gary,

Sorry I hadn't seen this post before now...your site has so much info on it that it can be easy to miss some of the important stuff! So glad you had the idea to re-promote this post on Twitter today.

Re. point 6 - Credit People. I have been mentioned once or twice in your blog posts and feel honored that you have done so. But, question - has anyone you have mentioned ever been upset with your mentioning them? Just wondering, as there is so much said these days regarding the privacy act, etc. etc.

Have bookmarked this page, Gary, for future reference, and I would advise others to do so too!

It's no surprise to me that so many people view and also comment on your blog posts. I don't believe that it is JUST your style of writing people like, nor the fact that you offer such GREAT (and obvious!) info....

There's no B.S. in what you say and most people can smell the truth a mile away!

Keep on keeping it real, Gary! Looking forward to your next post.

Thanks Alex - I appreciate the time that you have taken (out of your HONEYMOON - no less! Oh boy... you are gonna learn the "rules" pretty quick smart. Just wait... - LOL)

No probs with the support I have been trying to provide the people on the MWA2.0 forum. I do my best.

Unfortunately, the BIG percentage of people there pretty much ignore what I say (but that's OK - they are still learning the ropes) coz they are too damn busy chasing that NEXT quick-fix solution.

Some of them have now made the reality that there is NO quick-fix solution and they are knuckling down to following a plan and a process.

The #1, 2 and 3 that you identified above is the combination that I use. Marshall Sylver also does this and look what that dude has done. Pretty awesome!

I just wish I didn't have so many off-line issues ATM. That just side-tracks me and wastes my time.

Again, Gangsta, thanks for taking the time to come here and make those comments.

Gary

PS: Folks, if you wonder why I refer to Alex Jeffreys as Gangsta then just have a look at the "dress code" in his latest products. You can see some here on the sidebars of my blog. Now you know. LOL!

Howdy Paul - Must be my lucky day. I do that sometimes too. I go to a site and see a couple of posts and before you know it, you've done two or three posts on different threads.

Paul, the term "common sense" is a misnomer. The person who coined it had a perverse sense of humour. There really is no such thing any more. That is why we have so many money-hungry lawyers hunting for every opportunity for their stupid clients to make a fast illegitimate buck.

I was listening to a Mike Filsaime tape just the other day and he said that in the US it is no longer a matter of IF you are sued but WHEN you are sued.

I have several very dear friends in the US and they all live under this constant threat. And in Australia it is becoming more and more prevalent. We now have completely insane warnings on shirt packets warning consumers NOT to iron shirts while they are being worn. I mean... what is going on?

Thanks for your commendation of my post. I appreciate it very much.

Regards

Hi Again...Gazza,
Well this is a record i'm doing 2 posts one after the other on you site and articles..been missing in action for a while and it shows.

Great post and very insightful in what you have listed as the 7 key points, with a lot of content / room for people to manoeuvre in developing their approach on both article and the development of their blog site and business..

What I have found in many years of teaching is that "Common Sense Is Rarely Practiced!" ...and this fits into this category..

Once again...great advice and insight...look forward to more...

Best wishes to all...
Paul

Denis - What a delicious thought. But no. Not a chance in hell. The Gazz-man's superior ability to examine and analyse writing styles would have detected that IMMEDIATELY.

Parkesy, is just being mischievous. Or... maybe he is another Joseph Merrick. Oh, you SO deserved that Parkesy for daring to cross swords with the Gazz-man. LOL! Mate!

Denis – What a delicious thought. But no. Not a chance in hell. The Gazz-man’s superior ability to examine and analyse writing styles would have detected that IMMEDIATELY.

Gary and especially Hilary:

Thanks so much for your time and trouble. Your suggestions are duly noted and I'm trying to get it all cleared up (along with the 8" of snow in my driveway).

Hilary-I don't believe we have formally met-so Hello! It's just one big party over here. I'll come visit you tomorrow.

Gary-one last thought-It might be a wild thought...but...maybe Garry Parkes IS Alex Jeffreys. Think about it. Has anyone ever seen them together at the same time? No pictures, no avatar, not much history, he was already up and running before we got started. Who knows what he really sounds like, on any call in? What better way for the general to spy on his troops and be the proverbial fly on the wall. Hmmmmmmmmm.....

Thanks again all,
Denis
