Hi folks, sorry for the delay in responding. I was in another city for a week attending a celebratory dinner for the 25th Anniversary of an Association that I am a member of. I decided not to take my laptop. I just needed a break.

@ Norene - If you read my Adswap e-book you will be a "full bottle" on the subject. There is an appendix at the back that will also walk you through how to set up a gift in a JV Giveaway too.

@ Jeff - thanks for the comment. Everyone is so busy. I do appreciate you coming here. Thanks for joining the 100% Giveaway. This is definitely the BIGGEST Giveaway of the year. There were about 1,550 contributors at the height of the contributor phase.

As you say, you must promote these events to stay active. Unfortunately, more than 1,000 people didn't do that and they have now been downgraded to "member status." But even with 450 active contributors in there it is still a HUGE event.

@ Vance - get to it mate. Get a nice ORIGINAL product for yourself. Look for a "knowledge gap" - ie things that people want to know about, research it and write it or video it. I prefer books. Nikki Stephens did just that and wrote a nice Social Networking expose.

Vance, get half a dozen people to review it. I may be able to give it a quick look over. Here's a big hint... edit, edit, edit! Make it your very best before you get others to review it. That INCLUDES a spell check. I am always AMAZED at the number of people who don't bother to do that and their work is choc-a-block with tons of simple spelling errors.

Thanks Norene, Jeff and Vance.

Hi Gary,

You are writing exactly what I need to learn these days. Thanks for the e-book. I've read it quickly and now I'll be studying it closely. It is very well done.

I pay attention to your advice to use original products for giveaways which is why I haven't joined one. I don't have a product of my own yet.

When I do I may want you to review it first if you will be willing to do it.
I know how busy you are and time is limited.

I finally changed the look of my blog so it is closer to the look you suggested to me a few moths ago when you said "give it a busy look" or something like that.

Talk soon,
Vance

Hey Gary,

JV Giveaways are a great way to build your list. I've been using them for awhile now and have added many subscribers to my lists using this method. I'm usually involved in 2 or 3 giveaways at any given moment.

I must agree that the "100% Giveaway" is one of the best and biggest giveaway events of the year. And yes Gary, I do believe I used your link you sent me on Skype to sign up as a contributor.

One thing I want to add here is that even though you have purchased the upgrade which allows you to have more than one gift it's still very important that you promote the giveaway. Some people think that because they purchased this upgrade they don't have to promote but that's not the way it works.

I know I don't come around as much but I'm still watching you so you had better watch your P's and Q's. LOL!

Later,

Gary,
Thanks for the Adswaps ebook. This is new territory for me and I'm looking forward to learning about it! It really sounds like a win-win for everyone involved! -norene
