Hi Gary,

I am glad that you written a post about copyright theft, as this has just happened to me.

This website http://vandexter.com/seo/why-focus-and-determination-are-keys-to-success-online has stolen my just published article
and they haven't responded to my complaint.

Funny thing though, the guy is in the same coaching class as me?
Well a product banner gives that away.

Hi Sir,

I came across your website today and this discussion and it really bothered me. It bothered me so that I've not even gotten read what I came here for: Motivation and Self Esteem... What I did was google enom inc. + David Lee and found the below pasted URL.

I don't know if this is the same person/criminal but it seems very possible indeed. This sort of crime absolutely should be taken seriously and as you can read Cartier got their legal team to take action against one David Lee associated with the above mentioned Enom Inc.

I am also a writer, unfortunately I have never been wise enough use the internet as a means to making a living - what I mean to say is that I wouldn't where to begin... I'm pretty ignorant as to how it all works. In any case I write for a print - they now place my articles in their online edition (as is their right and property). Now I see my articles all over the place on blogs and other web sites. I should say they do leave my name as the author, but never mention the newspaper that who's property it is. I get paid very little for those articles and I write them for one newspaper and suddenly they are syndicated all over the place. The newspaper is not bothered by it at all - while I'm am a huge advocate for collaboration as pertains to the betterment of society - It very much bothers me. Recently a friend sent me a link to a blog where the blogger was publishing my articles as his own and that angered me - in that case the paper took action. Anyway I'm rambling about myself sorry! I am so sorry this person STOLE your work. Perhaps WIPO can be of help. All the best to you and I now look forward to checking out your site.

Hello Gary,
First let me say that I am sorry it took me so long to resolve this issue with the postings in my article site. I fully agree with everyone when it comes to plagiarism.

I am a small isp from design and development to internet marketing - and let me add that I am a one man show :).

ArticlesJust4You.com among many other sites I have is very hard for me to keep maintained. I wish I could run checks against copyscape on each post and pursue questioning if i get a hit...

But I am left with auto approving thousands once per week, then going back and do a database query searching for adult content, words, phrases etc to delete the crap some idiots post.

I'm sorry this happened and i did go delete all posts from this author.
Take care!

@ Bob - yes but obviously this person is still adding more stolen content because the count went from 16,100 entries for the name on Google when it was observed, a few days later it went down to 15,800 and today it is back to 15,900. It's gonna be interesting to see what Google does. The much vaunted, often feared Google slap may be a mere brush with a wet lettuce leaf. We shall see.

@ Keith - it would be very nice if everybody played by the rules of the game, wouldn't it? But there are always some who don't think that all the rules that others abide by even apply to them.

I think the entire premise of PLR has given rise to this sort of thing. In theory, it was probably a good idea for struggling writers to get started but too many people are too lazy, or just don't care or don't have any pride. I can detect PLR so easily. In 99% of the cases it is shoddy rubbish that makes virtually no sense. I'd be utterly ashamed to put my name on any of it.
